One control system – all solutions
The control system is flexible and offers endless possibilities! You can easily optimise the customisation of zones, light levels and hold times. Choose between schedule, astro and scenes. Control absence and presence or supplement with push buttons – only the needs of the room set the limits!
Lighting control with precision
Each luminaire is equipped with a BTDA device that communicates via Bluetooth. This makes it possible to control each individual luminaire in the system, with each individual luminaire only being activated when it detects movement. Unlike traditional control systems, where for example all luminaires in a corridor are activated simultaneously, this is unique to Exaktor’s system on the market.

BTDA – How it works
Each luminaire is equipped with its own intelligence, enabling smooth project planning with exact precision and customised adaptation of the lighting in each room. It’s simple – leave the light on, when and where it’s really needed. All you need is to connect the luminaire with a 3-wire cable. Use existing or new, you choose. All this to give you the right amount of light, in the right place, and an energy-efficient installation optimised to light where people move.
What is BTDA?
BTDA stands for Bluetooth DALI and is an advanced
lighting control solution based on Bluetooth SIG Mesh technology. The system is packaged under the Koolmesh platform in a way that makes the advanced easy.
What are the opportunities with BTDA?
We dare say that the control system has unlimited possibilities. With functions that allow you to customise the lighting exactly to the needs of the room, you have full control over lighting and energy consumption. You can create customised zones, set the brightness of luminaires and adjust how long they stay on before dimming or switching off. If the space has a lot of natural light, you can let the system compensate for daylight, saving even more electricity as the luminaires do not need to be fully lit.

Get started quickly
Getting started with BTDA is easy. You can switch on and let your luminaires take on a life of their own: switching on by detecting movement and dimming down, and then switching off when people are not moving around the premises. But by optimising the system for different scenarios and controlling the lighting as needed, you can optimise energy efficiency.
Safety light
As the luminaires communicate seamlessly, we can pre-set the light along roads for vehicles and pedestrians, causing it to switch on when someone approaches, signalling presence. The light provides a sense of security, which you also create with the help of the lighting.
Gateway provides greater opportunities
Connect the system to a gateway and you will have access to even more features and a better overview of the project even on your computer. It also offers the possibility to programme and control your installation remotely.
Unlimited data
Using the gateway gives you access to unlimited data for your project. All statistics are collected at a glance and you can easily follow your consumption and energy savings in real time. You can also export the data if needed for reporting.
